This is a brand new product specially designed for the UK it is not just a rod holder but over the next few months a full range of accessories will be launched which will fit the new g-star mounting system.
The G-star is made from high density plastic the mounting washers are made from marine grade silicone rubber

The G-star system comes in various kits bases, multi adaptors and accessory heads
We have a complete G-star rod holder which comprises of 1 mounting base, 1 multi angle ball adaptor and 1 rod holder.
The kit we have comes complete with marine grade stainless steel self tapping screws

The easy to use multi angle rod holder has a featured trigger guard this is ideal mounting place for rod leashes it has a large locking handle which is very easy and quick to use even with cold wet hands

The G-star mounting base has 4 parts the high density plastic base the locking bar and 2 silicone washers for mounting it is pre drilled for mounting all are of the highest quality materials

Underneath the G-star base unit there are 2 high density silicone washers 1 has the cap attached to it and the second is a thicker spacer both are made from different densities of silicone

The low profile G-star mounting system petrudes only about 1 inch above the surface of the kayak so will not get in the way when not in use.
its very easy to fit the G-star simply use the 2 self tapping screws supplied as the screws are tightened the thick rubber mounting washer forms a firm solid watertight seal

The G-star adaptor ball is very tough solid plastic this allows infinite angles on the attachments used with the whole system

Once the ball adaptor is slotted neatly in to the mounting base the white locking bar is slid across this locks the ball mount in to place

Attaching the rod holder is very quick and simple once the holder is mounted it is locked in place using the large handle this is very easy to use when out on the water.

 

 The innovative ball mount allows adjustment of just about any angle this is a very versatile mounting system which has been made to last the G-star base mount has been designed not to intrude on the angler’s space it is  quick and easy to install just about anywhere on the kayak. This allows for a more versatile mounting system than the systems currently on the market.

The G-star system is exclusive to Galaxy kayaks and I feel they really have a winner with this system and feel sure this is going to be a real favourite amongst us anglers
