North Wales Kayak Fishing

This is my review of

The Packyak 3.1m universal kayak cover

This is one of those great ideas it is designed to protect the kayak when its not in use the packyak is made from It is made out of high quality Urethane Coated, Marine Grade, 600 Denier Polyester this is a very tough hardwearing material

When laid out the packyak has 2 sides a dark side and a light grey side the grey side is the top it has 4 easy to use carry handles and 8 retaining straps and buckles it is designed to fit kayaks of 3 meters or less

Each end of the packyak has strong nylon carry handles for easy manhuvering of the package

Each side has a strong nylon carry strap and several adjusting straps and buckles

Image description
There is a large zip section at the rear of the bag this makes getting the kayak in and out very easy to do

By sliding the kayak in to the bag and fastening the large  zip first

Image description

Once the zip is closed fasten the cross straps then the length straps this is great because by tightening all the straps this reduces the amount of loose material in the bag and makes for a tight solid bundle once all straps are secured

Image description
The kayak can still be transported using the front and rear straps this is a really clever idea

Amongst all the advantages of the packyak are once the yak is inside the bag it wont drip on the car windscreen leaving streaky white residue from salt water there is also the added security of people not being able to see exactly what's in the bag. When storing your kayak away for the winter using the packyak means it will be protected in its bag and ready to use when required this is one of those great ideas that we should all be using  .

The packyak retails at £47.50 from outdoor hub
