this is my first impresions review of this seat firstly
the official stuff . Thick, ergonomic foam cushioning, rear pocket; 2 x integral rod holders, soft neoprene comfort.
Excellent lower back support, easy adjustment, with fitting straps.
The first thing you will notice is the quality
superbly made in every way this seat is marketed as for the Bic kayaks but it will easily fit to most of the other kayaks
available today I fitted it to the manta 11 and 12 to test it out and it fitted easily to both

The deep pile and ridges will make this seat very comfortable to use and
will offer the user a lot of back support the reason for the ridges is so it drys quickly after use
The rear of the seat has 2 stiff rod holders and a mesh pocket notice also the
adjustable top strap fixings this seat has 2 fixing points on the rear straps on the top and bottom of each rear strap
This close up shows how I fitted the top straps to the manta using 2 pad eyes
as anchor points you can also see how handy the rod holder could be fixed to each side of the rear of the seat
The front strap fixed in place makes this a very secure
seat. Notice the quality clip on the strap and also the neoprene sleeve for tucking in the loose straps this is a great little
feature to tidy away the loose webbing
The rear of the seat has 2 fasteners on each strap this gives maximum adjustability
for superb lumber support and also seen is the large cargo mesh pocket
This is a superbly thought out piece of kit
with many small features like the neoprene sleves on all the straps and 4 way rear anchor points the large mesh pocket is
in just the right position to be easily reached the rod holders are made from a covered stiff plastic and the rod easily slides
in and out I think Bic have designed a superb seat with this one and the users will find the lumber support invaluable on
them long days out the seat retails at £44.99 its brilliant value
