This is my first impressions
This
is a full carbon spin rod that has top quality stamped all over it at a price everybody can afford the model I am reviewing
is 7ft long 2 piece.
It has semore type single leg stand off lined rings that are spaced perfectly for the rod.
the
first thing you will notice is the quality and the weight it is so light in the hand and beautifully finished .
As said
this is a full carbon rod it has a cork handle and a none slip but cap it has a Fuji type real seat .

The john Wilson XL spin rod comes complete with a protective cloth bag
Note the diameter of this spin rod in the picture above and the spinner
keeper ring for safe storage when paddling out to the fish
Above the full cork handle and the Fuji type reel seat this will hold your
reel very securely the diameter and feel of the corked handle is very comfortable to hold
Securely crafted push over joints make for a very neat strong joint it
is important to notice the A grade re-enforced whippings on the female side of the joint this gives extra strength to the
joint
An important point here is notice how long the complete handle is just
a tad under 16inches why this is important to us kayak anglers is with being in a sitting position if the handle was longer
as is with many rods while casting it would hit your waist no such problems with this rod its just the right length for us
to use comfortably all day
I feel the overall quality and build of this powerful yet light rod is
superb.
It feels balanced and comfortable in the hand the fittings are of the highest quality its just the right length
for the kayak I feel we have finally got a spinning rod that is perfect for our needs in this rod it is both top quality and
affordable .
