This is my review of the galaxy Cruz fishing kayak
When you first unpack the Galaxy Cruz you will notice the quality.
The materials fittings and plastics are superb and second to none the spacing of the fittings and mouldings are perfectly set out ideally for us kayak fishermen.

The Galaxy Cruz comes as a package package I say package because the kayak is sold as a package which includes 6 soft rubber scupper bungs a paddle a tackle box which fits in to the centre hatch a keeper bag which fits in the front hatch an ultimate kayak seat with rear storage bag a pro rod rest and mount together with 4 flush mount rod holders this is a superb comprehensive package

The kayak has sleek lines and stylish appearance this one is in desert storm camo but other colours are available

At the rear of the kayak is a drain plug and a sturdy soft grip carry handle.
The front handle is the same they are centrally aligned which makes carrying really easy

The rear bungee is a cris cross pattern which is fixed in 4 corners by stainless steel and hard plastic pad eyes in the centre of these pad eyes 2 rimmed plastic posts are used to complete the cris cross pattern this is designed to make attaching a crate or rear storage box quick and easy by just clipping or un-clipping from the rimmed posts.

Behind the seat there are 2 flush mount rod holders with caps and a centre moulding cutaway which allows more than one these kayaks to be stacked together making it easy to transport

The ultimate kayak seat is anchored via 4 stainless steel and hd plastic pad eyes
The front 2 fixings are positioned quite close to the seat this is great because you don’t have long intrusive straps in the way while fishing.

The moulding at the front base of the seat is raised this lifts the legs slightly making it a very comfortable stable ride.
.In the centre of the cockpit is a round locking hatch which comes complete with a small tackle box

The centre console has a moulded cut out for a water bottle and is rounded of with a pro rod rest.
There is ample space here to add fish finders gps ect

The front locking hatch has a neat removable nylon keeper bag

All The handles and pad eyes use moulded inserts these are a strong capsulated brass box nut which is incorporated in to the moulding at the time of manufacture these are both waterproof and very strong.
The fixings are finished off with stainless steel hex bolts

All 4 flush mount rod holders are fitted using marine grade tri fold rivets
Each rod holder has a rubber gasket which is siliconed on both sides during installation

The hull of the galaxy Cruz is designed with long deep moulded ridges this helps to keep the kayak straight and on course when paddling.

The Galaxy Cruz has 6 scupper holes spaced quite evenly along the kayak these are centred in the deep tracking lines this helps to disperse water from the scupper holes while on the move

The Galaxy Cruz comes as a very comprehensive package I think it is ideal for sheltered bays and inland waters this is a very stable manoeuvrable kayak with stylish lines and features.
the kayak has a solid feel about it and boasts a 4.5 to 5mm thick moulding the materials used in producing this kayak are top quality with top quality fixings which I feel are laid out superbly this kayak package retail at £279.00 I feel this represents fantastic value for money

I have not gone in to much detail of the seat, tackle box and paddle which come with this kayak these deserve a separate review of their own which I will do in the coming weeks
