This is my review of the feelfree nomad.
Firstly it’s a quality robust kayak that can do almost anything its
equally at home in the sea or Stillwater there are many well
designed areas allowing for all kinds of modifications and
add-ons.
The nomad has 4 very good balanced carry handles making it easy to load on and off the car for transporting and handling off the water
The nomad has an attractive well defined overall shape with bungee cord retaining system in the rear cargo well and a large centre hatch completed with a removable net bag
The rear of the kayak has a paddle retainer and moulded
areas for flush rod mounts
It has 2 scuppers in the tank well to aid quick
draining
The side carry handles are balanced to the kayak so its easy to load on and off the car
The shape of the slightly upturned bow is designed to move water away from the cockpit as the boat moves so it rides the waves well
the feelfree nomad is a robust go anywhere kayak it was
designed this way so its just as happy surfing, fishing or paddling
the still waters I like the provisions made for customisation like
the flat areas for rod holders.
it paddles really well and is a very manhuverable kayak the
retail of the nomad is around £379 bare boat and I think that’s
good value for money it would make a great trolling boat for the
bass Pollock or mackerel by simply adding a couple of rod mounts so
its an inexpensive way to get out there and start kayak fishing all
in all this kayak fulfils its role very
well.
